This year the NHSCC national members’ event for CCG leaders will explore the changing face of commissioning as clinical commissioners are adapting to deliver the NHS Long Term Plan and transform the delivery of healthcare.
Our annual event, attended by clinical commissioning leaders from across the country, gives delegates the chance to hear from high profile speakers and network with each other, sharing experiences and learning. The packed agenda will feature a keynote address from the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Rt Hon Matt Hancock MP, as well as the usual keynote and discussion with Simon Stevens, NHS England Chief Executive.
Other plenary sessions throughout the day will reflect upon the achievements of CCGs since their inception, before looking ahead to outline how the key strengths of clinical commissioning must be retained as CCGs adapt to work in new ways. Other priorities for CCGs will also be explored – including how to deliver the prevention agenda, and the key role of Primary Care Networks.
In addition, there will be practically-focused breakout sessions that explore how commissioners can help bring Integrated Care Systems to life, as well as valuable networking time.
Further details, including the full agenda, will be published in August.
