The NHSCC Finance Forum national event offers an opportunity for CCG CFOs to come together and hear from national leaders and influence the direction of travel, share best practice, and network with colleagues from across the country.

This year, for the first time, we will be holding the Finance Forum national event in parallel with our national members’ event, but with a dedicated programme of sessions exclusively for CFOs. This is the only national event specifically for CCG CFOs where we will discuss the issues that matter to you and where the programme is shaped by the CCG CFO community.

Some of the key themes that we will be covering during the day include:

  • The role of CCGs and CCG CFOs in the evolving commissioning landscape
  • Financial structures that support strategic commissioning, across STPs, ICSs and in integrated health and social organisations
  • How NHSCC has been working with NHS England and others to support the delivery of value
  • A session on Continuing Healthcare from a finance perspective – what action can be taken to reduce unwarranted variation with shared learning from those areas that have been most effective
