Event Details

  • Venue : Webinar
  • Date : 16 May 2018
  • Event Time : 12.30-1.30pm

You may be aware that NHS England is reviewing QOF following commitments made during the GMS Contract negotiations in 2016/ 17 and the General Practice Forward View. NHS Clinical Commissioners (NHSCC) sit on the Advisory Group for the review and are keen to ensure CCGs have the opportunity to participate in it. The NHSE review team has been engaging with a range of stakeholders understand views and experiences of current QOF and aspirations for the future to inform the review. Currently, NHS England is working with us to gather information about local primary care incentive schemes and the trend for these to be operated at a network, rather than individual practice, level. The team is seeking to understand more about the types of primary care networks emerging in your localities and to explore how you are engaging networks through local incentive schemes.  Any policy position that emerges from the review will be subject to negotiations with the GPC.

NHSCC is hosting a webinar to:

  • Update on what is happening with the review
  • gain the perspective of NHSCC members to support the review
  • share information on wider incentive schemes you are operating locally that could help the review team to know more
  • discuss opportunities/challenges of local quality schemes and demand management

This webinar will be on Tuesday 15th May 12.30-1.30pm and chaired by NHSCC’s Chief Executive Julie Wood, presenters include NHS England and Buckinghamshire ICS. This webinar is aimed at CCG leaders and Primary Care leads. This is a great opportunity to influence national thinking.
