We've provided input to the Monitor and NHS England discussion paper on the way to best reform the NHS Payments system. Our response sees the review as a welcome step, a system level conversation and a vital opportunity for CCGs to be at the table to shape the way payments really incentivise the delivery of the best outcomes for their populations.

We have responded to Monitor’s consultation on its guidance on the Procurement, Patient Choice and Competition Regulations. Overall we believe the guidance from Monitor offers a first step in clarifying the implementation of the recent section 75 regulations, but requires further work to be fully suited to the complex environment, population needs and choices available to CCGs as local commissioners.
